Before i make a mive mistake, can i ask for you're advice!!?

i personally wouldnt do it by text itd be kind of embaring especially as hell have it on his phone to show anyone, but thats just me. id wait until i saw him and talk to him as friends if it goes well id bring it up what he thought of me but not make a big deal out of it. you said yourself you dont know him well so dont bring up things like that straight away it could put him off its better to go slow or he may get the wrong impression that youre desperate or something. its your choice but i wouldnt do it by text id just ask to meet up and spend more time together.
