What are some ways I can dye wood on a guitar?

I am rebuilding an electric guitar that's a brand I don't even know and I was wondering some ways to dye it blue. I have it sanded down and a quilted maple veneer glued on top, but what are some creative, inexpensive (but effective) ways to dye it blue?
