Workers comp no more checks now what? help?

i been receiving state disability checks cause insurance has always denied my claim,so im about to receive my last check from state my funds are all gone ..so can my attorney enforced the insurance now so they can start sending me money? i called him he say he is going to talk to them about something call pda something like that so i can start getting checks exactly whats going to happen?
