That's interesting. I just noticed that enticement because of your question. I voted "about the same" because I always thought the points system to be kinda odd. What's the point? But it does seem to be important to some, especially new people. I have seen people answer with just the line "two points. thanks". Yahoo's reason must be an indication that usership (is that a real word?) is declining. It is definitely a marketing ploy.
