How can this be resolved?

My Son In Law was stabbed by his next door neighbor last saturday. He under went surgery to repair an artery in his neck. The Neighbor who stab him was charged\w 2 felony's, but continues to harr him by phone from jail! My Granddaghter who took her father to emergency has now been served a three day evicition notice to move out. She had nothing to do with the fight, Why is she being evicited? What rights does she have? Can she sue the apartment owner for making faults allegations against her and her children? There's so many un-answered question "she" need advice on. Please respond ASAP!
